Love Mercy uses these policies to guide all of our operations here in Australia and in Uganda alike.

We encourage our stakeholders to access these documents, as we highly value transparency and accountability in all our operations.

These documents have been prepared in accordance with the Australian Council for International Development’s Code of Conduct.

Love Mercy is compliant with the ACFID Fundraising Charter and holds a valid license to fundraise in NSW. The Foundation is an ACFID Full Member and signatory to the ACFID Code of Conduct.

OUR CONSTITUTION

Our Constitution is our governing document.

It explains in detail how our board operates and how, as a not-for-profit, we are organised to achieve our objectives.

FUNDRAISING POLICY

Love Mercy Foundation is committed to the transparent and accountable allocation of all funds raised through our appeals.

This policy is reviewed every 12 months.

PLANNING, MONITORING, EVALUATION & LEARNING POLICY

This policy presents the position taken by Love Mercy Foundation in respect of evaluating, starting, managing, reporting and closing LMF projects in Northern Uganda (and any future country in Africa LMF elects to work within).

This policy outlines our clear separation of aid and development programs and programs which promote religion or welfare.

PREVENTION OF SEXUAL EXPLOITATION, ABUSE & HARASSMENT POLICY

Love Mercy Foundation is committed to ensuring that it complies with all applicable laws and manages, and mitigates any risk of Sexual Exploitation Abuse, and Harassment.

INTERNATIONAL DEVELOPMENT POLICY

The purpose of this policy is to provide a public statement on the commitment of Love Mercy to sustainable humanitarian and development work, identify our role and approach in this work and sets the parameters for our operational plans.

This policy is designed to provide guidance in relation to the development and management of partnerships between Love Mercy Foundation and other international development actors.

The Love Mercy Foundation greatly values your support and as such, the protection of your privacy is very important to us.

Certain documents and information are confidential in nature and are not made publicly available. These include but are not limited to; internal financial controls and procedures, complaints, board and staff issues,  contracts and correspondence.

Full financial statements are available upon request via email.
